I get the dawning had a VERY rough start, but bungo seriously 13 dawning essence for a FULL contest of elders run INCLUDING the bonus room??? That's it? Just 13...contest of elders was already bad enough not being even REMOTELY as rewarding as The Coil or even season of the witches activity were. Why can't yall ever just make consistently good activities or events, we're not even asking for great or perfect anymore, just GOOD...

The final point is fairly obviously going to always be their stance but it would be nice to get something like Operation Health that RS6 had where they just go back over and introduce more QOL/Refinement/fix core game issues. Bungie, with events, have a system that simply works despite the complaints. The event had significant progression blocking issues but as soon as they were mostly resolved people went and did the event. With Tyson in charge we may see a focus shift for events/seasons that are more substantial in the future but realistically not holding my breath for it. Any looming possibility of a full take over of Bungie by Playstation Studios wont change anything in the short term - it would be months before anything properly comes out of it if the full takeover happens. If Sony/Playstation Studios (NA not Asia) history is anything to go by, they'd rather fold Bungie into other studios and either shut the game down or leave the game on life support than try and revive a game riddled with problems. Sony wanted Bungie for live service, it's a constant thing they bring up with statements about Bungie assisting their other studios - D2 is only ever mentioned in that aspect and as far as I can see was just an added benefit of the acquisition that is backfiring.
