ISSUE: While playing with another player we have been experienced repeated incidences of being disconnected from the Pale Heart. Disconnection occurs anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes after the initial entry into the Pale Heart. On disconnect, we are both returned to space and our party is dissolved. Both myself and the other player have finished all the main story missions within the Pale Heart and are trying (without success) to obtain the fragments for the Prismatic Class.
Neomuna is also currently unplayable as a fire team. Entering the Zephyr Concourse, we attempted to reach the first Regional chest but before either of us could open it we are presented with a black screen and then deposited at the start of the area again. In this instance the fireteam was not dissolved but we could not proceed into the area for more than a minute before we are again presented with a black screen and brought back to the beginning of the region.
As a team we have played successfully on the Dreaming City map, Savathun's Throne World, and the Cosmodrome and have not experienced instances of disconnects as described above. We have played on these worlds within the same session where we were booted from the Pale Heart or Neomuna and as such, it is not our internet connection.
I will repeat this again. The error is not our internet connection.
Personal note. The other player (my father) and I have been playing Destiny since the original. We took a break during the Sunsetting matter and I re-invested in Destiny 2 when this matter was happily resolved. HOWEVER. The game is majorly buggy right now. This is leading to overall disappointment with the game (again, see sunsetting) and will affect whether I invest in the future of this franchise. I bought the entire year for the Final Shape for both my father and I and to have parts of it broken is extremely disappointing.
Did you ever buy a toy as a kid? Was it broken as soon as you opened the packaging? Destiny is our toy and it's broken. I don't like buying broken toys.
