No way you fixed perk weighting. Dawning linear is proof.
How come me and everyone else I know who plays this game can get a million reconstruction/envious assassin with bait and switch for this stupid dawning linear but envious arsenal literally never drops and the rare 2 times it did drop for me of course it didn’t have bait and switch. No way you guys have perk weighting fixed. This has to be on purpose to try to make me play an event I don’t want to play at all.

Obviously they didnt. It was never a "bug" either. They just got caught with one of their scummy "player engagement" practices.

You should have saved up all the gifts till last few days of the event then cash in. Weighing is always there but tweakable. The first day after they fixed double perks also good to cash in (I got pulse and misleft). This is true for other activities as well. Sort of like throw out some god roll at the start to entice the player base then tighten it untill last possible days (I got avalanche, glaive and fusion). Now farming onslaught weapons.

I got it on my 3rd try, bait+arsenal and reconstruct+high impact reserves. Not saying it proves it's fixed but the RNG is just like that sometimes.

1 ReplyI personally think they have messed with it even more. They have proved that they love to engage in such scummy tactics. Anecdotally - my “luck” with rose has absolutely awful. I have 2 IDENTICAL ROLLS. Do you have any idea how low of a chance that is ? I have gotten ele cap plus snapshot at least 3 times yet I haven’t gotten slideshot opening shot EVEN ONCE.

I had it drop like my third try. So, by your logic, does that mean Bungie adjusted the odds in my favor? Or, is it just random and you have bad luck? I think the latter…

2 RepliesIs it better than Cataclysmic? Scintillation? I got Env Arsenal + BnS/Firing lane on my 6-7th drop actually. I was not farming it actively, I had low dawning spirits that time so I was just decoding engrams without focusing anything

Got mine after 2 rolls same with LMG but I know people who can’t get a single good drop can’t trust anything anymore man.

I agree. After focusing hundreds of LFRs I still haven’t seen the envious arsenal/bait n switch combo drop once - let alone a good roll with those two perks. And the drop rates for gifts in return is absolutely stupid.

Second roll got envious arsenal with bns and precision instrument, however wicked sister and bitter/sweet took me since the season started until Christmas day to get the rolls

1 ReplyThat’s literally not how probability works. There’s always a chance you won’t ever get what you want. That being said, you should spend energy ranting about the layers of rng and why crafting isn’t on every weapon

I just a day ago, got my 1st Avalanche with the roll I wanted. Only took me 30 or 40 tries.

B/S with envious if the perk proximity weighting wasn't fixed would be one of the most likely rolls for the weapon to drop with. Do people not use light.gg to see if their rng is still affected? It takes less time than for op to formulate a post. Unless op is a very fast typer.
