Dawning emblem droprate is ridiculous
Opened over 25 gifts in return close to reset when drop chances were hopefully increased because of community goal, got exactly 0. Thank god I only wasted all that time before to gather RNG materials to bake cookies to get RNG gifts in return for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
I only wanted them for my collection because those emblems are ugly as hell and I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than equipping them. But the sheer impudence of Bungie by putting their utterly broken RNG in front of time-limited stuff with a high chance to get absolute nothing at all is a total disgrace and a new low even for Bungie!
Done with putting any more time in grinding for this event! Bungie can keep these trash emblems and put them where the sun doesn't shine!
EDIT: Thank you to the Bungie intern that read my rant and got green-lighted by upper management to quickly drop all 3 of them for me in a desperate attempt to stop me from hopping off the hamster wheel! >.<

1 ReplyIt’s crazy how unrewarding they made this game. I’ve been beating on the dawning for those emblems and a good roll on the LFR, and have come up empty. I’ll probably leave the event completely empty handed. The lack of emblem drops and gifts in return is ridiculous.

4 RepliesI went out of my way to get all 3 and I cannot tell you why.. they are aesthetically repugnant in a way previously unknown in this game. Can't remember how many presents I opened but it was a lot. I jus set it aside with all the other derpy grinds. I got a few solid Stay Frosty, so I guess it wasn't all bad. Jus mostly bad lol

I’ve opened well over 100 and got my third emblem toward the end. Grind in, that’s what it’s about 🤷🏼

Edited by Dooodley: 12/28/2024 12:14:46 AMI thought the emblems were kind of cool and wanted one for each class so I grinded like hell. Probably took around 150 gifts in return for all three though. So that's like atleast 5 gifts for each gift in return times 150, resulting in around 7500 DE. Yeah it's a bit much and grindy. I just mindlessly ran the same thing while listening to podcasts. I guess that's the way they want us to play the game. A better way would have been if they actually added good rewards to proper activities.

I gave up on that when I found out you have to grind for it and the drop rate. They are decent but from my opinion I'd rather have other Emblems.
