So remove crafting , make the grind more boring , players vanish and you cant see why ?

Probably a complete waste of time but here goes We all know the player base has plummeted and we can also all see the reasons why except Bungle Make the game More difficult across the board but dont make the rewards worth while Introduce the new activity but give less rewards than the coil (but remove the coil even though it was popular) Bring back the grind but remove Crafting , but make the grind boring and a waste of time. Grinding should have a goal thats obtainable eventually, but with RNG you could grind 24/7 and still never get what you want so devalue player time. Let cheats run Rampant but also make sure that Matchmaking is so bad , Put all against each other with wildly different Connections , i just love how good the game feels when im playing against someone from the other side of the world. Basically Bungle have lost it completely, I know they think Marathon will do well but they really should make sure that the game that actually makes the money is good enough to continue to do so , all i see is they are just doing the bare minimum to get by until Marathon.

  • It's a sum, of many small events that created the player-loss - or, vanish - like OP said. For me, the loss of (seasonal) weapon crafting is part of it, but of course, there's more, like, for example, the current episode, which is simply crude and unfinished. But the downfall was initiated by Bungie himself years ago, starting with Destiny Content Vault, Sunsetting and iterations - by foolishly relying on Eververse as counterweight and compensation for the ongoing content. There's a lot more, but the main thing is that there is no counterstep. Which reminds me of bleeding out. There was a time, when Destiny 2 was brilliant, but even that momentum was burned to the ground, with blind overconfidence. For me, it was, in some ways still is, a top game, but it has a sad story to tell behind its curtains. The guy with the cars isn't impressive at all; it's more something to laugh about, but not a hearty one. In addition, comes another one who wants hundreds of millions from Bungie and Sony as compensation, charging an action suit against them. I think there will be more like this (in the future). And it shows what they have had in mind.
