I mean tbh the ship already sank. Considering how expensive live service games are to run, the playerbase dipped to almost non profitable values already. If Sony wouldnt know about the insane monetization potential because of past numbers, the plug would have already been pulled imo. Also IF Bungie had another consistent running ip, the plug would have also been pulled. The game is literally dead atm and the january low is yet to come. Curse of osiris made them almost shut down the game. We are lower than back then. Should tell you everything. And unless Bungies and Sonys higher ups decide to all of a sudden not be greedy af anymore, i dont see that changing sadly. My personal favorite game of all time died for the benefit of some greedy suits.
