Unbeknownst to anyone, the shield perk Adaptive Munitions was stealth nerfed. Why? I have no idea.
Previously the perk was up to a 500% buff and up to 600% enhanced.
Now it is up to a 50% buff and up to 70% enhanced.
This is now a worse version of Under-Over as that gives the same 50% buff (55% enhanced) but without the ramping period. Why would I choose Adaptive Munitions if a better alternative works outright and does not require sustained fire to reach its maximum? Revert the nerf or be transparent about your fixes.

Now you understand why they never put numbers, to be as vague as possible so people don't catch them doing stealth nerf (people are not that oblivious). Now see if they'll say it's a "bug" or not

It's such a -blam!- move. It's like buying a pair of pants online, the picture shows two legs but when you get them delivered, there's only one leg cos they nerfed them on the sly. People go to a fair amount of effort to farm or craft weapons so nerfing them that badly is a real slap in the chops.

I thought this perk was obsolete when they removed the shield type dependencies in nightfalls?
