We all know comp is a complete s***show at the moment. Many, including myself, have been unable to find matches, let alone win often enough to move up ranks. This has become a major point of frustration, and I know I'm not alone. The player population is next to non-existent. Especially on OCE servers where I'm based. I'm not even gonna get into the rampant cheaters and recovs still plaguing the entire pvp aspect of the game. Investing in the game mode has been a mostly timelost (pun intended) experience for the majority of the remaining population. The whole game mode needs a major overhaul. I know it's a very complex topic, and I'm being as constructive as possible. Suggestions below: - Remove Collision, go back to Survival - Clash is fine. - Remove points decay for not completing weekly comp matches considering the population is so low. Especially for Gold ranks and lower. Losing points for not being able to find matches at mid to low ranks is punishing and demotivates further participation. Either way, the points system needs adjusting. - Team balancing in solo queue, I know this is a tricky one considering the population. It's probably not possible to have balanced matchmaking when the game is in the unhealthy state that it is right now. - Allow players to re-earn certain Ascendant emblems by having to reset your glory rank or redo placements and climb back to Ascendant at any given time they wish or something along those lines. Obviously, this isn't something players should simply be handed. That's absolutely not what I'm suggesting. But I think it's fair compensation for the people who've tried to put in the fair effort to earn these emblems only to be -blam!- by the lack of player population and the general state of comp and all the issues surrounding it. Trying to earn something that is completely out of reach due to things out of your control is pretty frustrating for the player. - Remove the cap on focusing comp weapons, this is literally contributing to people playing their 3 games (if they can find matches) at the start of the week and the comp population being even more dead for the remainder of the week.
