When they get back from their three week holiday they will announce .. something. I'm betting they will say they are sorry, that they are listening to your feedback and that Frontiers will address all your concerns. All the bugs will be solved, not because they fixed them, but simply because they said so in the WTFBungie this week. Apparently that's how it works. Then they will announce their new Game2Give event, have you seen the leak for that ?? .. it's amazing. Bungie will give you x amount of credits for every donation you make. You can then spend the "credits" on exclusive items. Yes, that's right. Bungie have monetized charity. No doubt we will get a massive announcement about new "rewards" to bring the 90% of all the Final Shape players who have jogged on, which will be stuff already in the game, that no one will really care about or want , and earning these will require you to go do all the activities you are already heartily sick to the back teeth of. Yay !! .. new weapons to use in all those battlegrounds you hate with a passion hotter than the burning sun or in Gambit as you lose the will to live watching that guy run around for 15 motes when he only needs 3. Or even in Crucible if you're a cheater. Apparently they are all the only ones left in Shaxx's broken Kingdom. You can spend the time in Fireteam Finder inspecting these new prizes as you wait with ever diminishing hope for someone to join your Dungeon team. We will also find out about the new exotic mission, The one you'll have to play every week, on every character until the merest mention of it will induce involuntary muscle spasms .. just to get an exotic you wont care about thirty minutes after you get it. The mission will then become pointless, just like that last one. Cant remember the name. I think my brain blocked it out to save me fighting the urge to launch my PS5 into a low earth orbit at the very thought of having to run it again. But hey, at least we will unlock the last part of the season pass that will possibly stop the icon blinking all .. the .. time. Who am I kidding ?? .. of course it wont. But who among us cant wait to unlock all those prized items for ranking up the pass like Glimmer, Enhancement cores and that shader no one will ever use. A season pass full of things we can easily get in game. What a time to be alive as a gamer. Apparently there is nothing new to tell about Frontiers. Probably because they are busy trying to work out how to sell us fighting the same enemies somewhere new is some kind of revolution as we play the same public events, just on a different planet. The new story is apparently complete but they are just waiting until a month before launch so they can rewrite it into a love triangle story between Saint, a RedJack and an Air Fryer. You know, like Destiny One, only this time this rehash will make more sense than that gaming disaster. 2025. What a year to be the Destiny Gamer.
