Why I support crafting instead of RNG.
Because not 1 Arc Ergo Sum has dropped for me in this game. That's why I hate this game. Not because lack of content. Not because some rich guy bought a bunch of cars . Only because you are forced to play the same stupid thing over and over and over and over and over and over.
Let us craft the weapon we want so I can go use it where I want and play this game the way I want.
Update: I got my FIRST ARC ERGO SUM yesterday. 1 out of 15 or so.

Agreed with crafting being better than Bungie's rng. weight gating has been an issue for a long time and still feels active, exotic drop rates from dungeons/raid are abysmal even with drop rate increases, and as you specified in this post, you haven't got a single arc version. Games like the Borderlands series have far better rng than this game and far more satisfying loot drops like every enemy that can drop them is a Piñata. Crafting improved Destiny and to top that off, Ergo Sum itself would never had happened without the Craftening. Bungie literally said it is what inspired them to make the sword.
