Potential fix: I was told by another player that this bug happens when you are making changes to your character while loading into an activity. If you stay on the loading screen while your ship flies to the destination, you apparently will not have audio problems. If you are in a raid, have someone send you an invite and then restart the game, or reboot your device. I reboot and rejoin and it solves the problem.
