Would you report that?
Just went almost all the way through Encore Overture mission with another guy.
We were same level, things went well, I had no issue following up, so it’s not a case of the other guy carrying me.
Then after we cleared the final boss and right before the end the guy kick me out of the fire team. So no loot nor quest completion for me.
Did I do something wrong or is it just a standard case of d*** move?

You can report them for that. More than likely, you didn’t do anything wrong. This player was just a jerk to you.

I ignored their idiocy and did everything they asked me to do, then they kicked me right before the loot. Didn't bother reporting, just found them in my game history and blocked all 5 accounts. Problem solved.

Happened to me in a grandmaster nightfall before. Host was sitting up in a cheese spot watching us 2 bring the boss to low health. Then he kicked us both to finish it himself lol.

1 ReplyDo what I do. Do the mission solo, then if you wanna melt the boss lfg for 2 guys. Boss is actually fine solo too now, there's no reset if you die I solo'd it yesterday, only took about 6-7 mins with a basic loadout, graviton hammerhead nova bomb 100 resil & void resist mods.

I feel like theirs more to this story. My money is you likely did little to nothing to contribute as you are a very fresh/new player. However not saying that even remotely makes it right.

Yes, I would report it The only thing to combat trolls untill Bungie removes there ability to troll by removing the ability to kick at will without explanation

just shocking to read these because matchmaking sure you can get some bad players from time to time.. but you are in control of your character.. but you would think the curated fireteam experience would come complete with protections.. ...one other reason is potentially the dude does it on purpose because they think their chances for some exclusive loot will be higher if they are the only ones left at the end? -
1 ReplyFind out where they live, poop in a paper bag for a week, leave it on their doorstep, set it on fire , ring the door bell and run away so you can watch the fun. Also wear a mask in case they have a door bell camera.

Definitely messed up on the other Guardians part, report. Host your own fireteam to avoid this bs always.

1 ReplyD move for sure. You can report him/her for griefing you, but not likely to get actioned on. As for whether or not you got carried, that hard to say since your game history is hidden/private. Maybe they thought you were getting carried so they booted you. Not saying it’s right/wrong, but could be the reason.
