Will Marathon have as many cheaters as Destiny2?
Because they are everywhere in Crucible at the moment..

The better question is why stick around to find out? Bungie clearly doesn’t care about PVP in their bread winner game, what makes you think they’ll care in the next game? Just another grab so Pete can get his third cyber truck.

1 ReplyUnless Bungie decides to do something drastically different for the Marathon anti-cheat system, the answer is yes. Given that Marathon reportedly uses the same engine as Destiny 2, all currently available D2 cheats might be compatible out of the box.

Oh I'm sure of it. I think cheating is going to be a problem with any popular game and hope bungie has a plan for this or marathon is going to die quickly. I never liked trials but used to get the adept weapon in about a day. I got 3 persistence wins each of 3 weeks playing Fri to Monday night. There are 3 huge problems, matchmaking, cheating, and double progress weekends. I stopped playing double progress weekends because of matchmaking. My teammates just want the progress so they kill themselves. Marathon has no hope if it has any of these problems.

More than likely but I won’t be sticking around to find out. Bungie has already proven they don’t are about PVP in the only game that makes them any money right now, why pay for more of the same?

Sadly it's actually becoming [i] worse [i] . Given that bugs and glitches are bad enough, it's even worse when legitimate players get suspended/threatened/banned for doing the right thing.
