5 RepliesJust finished up the sniper myself. We only really need to learn the final boss. That drops 3 of the weapons and I think the weekly excision key can get you a new read border

Bungie again hinders progress of the Story in Act3 by enforcing playing 4 normal + 4 times expert the quest again. I've done the Kell's quest in normal and solo. I don't want to do it again and again like mindless moron. Revenant season is the lowest of the low in quality of the all I've played. Back to Marvel Rivels! I'm done with Act3 and Revenant.

Crafted a void build to utilize them and went into a Nightfall on Expert to test it out. Should have been an easy complete, but I got annihilated in the elevator repeatedly and gave up on it. Guess I'll be sticking with the same boring getaway artist prismatic. Started the exotic quest. Made it to the pit of something something. Died several times and came to the realization that I'd rather pluck my nose hairs out one at a time than spend the next several hours repeatedly dying and doing the same boring slog over and over again to get this exotic that doesn't sound all that compelling to begin with. Maybe this is just a sign that I've played too much Destiny and need to take a break. But to tell the truth I've been enjoying the raids a lot lately and find that doing repeated clears in the hope a red-border will drop is fun and keeps things interesting. I take back everything bad I ever said about raids. They should stop all this other stuff and just double down on raids. The RNG drops have been complete crap. I don't think I've achieved a single god roll of any weapon since they changed things up and I'm already losing interest in grinding for them. Would much rather grind for red-borders and then craft the exact weapon I want.

Or not do it ! You don’t have to . I stopped couple of years back with doing everything . Now I do nothing . I used to get so excited about exotic quests dropping but they have lost their magic for me .

I was playing expert mode mainly for the intrinsic traits but found out that's not necessary. The only exotic perk I'm interested in is cascade point but not enough to lose progress almost beating a boss just to be killed. I might do it with a team but not finding it in fireteam finder.

I haven’t progressed the episode/season story at all do don’t have access to the new exotic weapon mission. Guess I’ll get along fine without it.

It's like a supermarket version of fruit loops We'll call it fruit rings.The mission was ok it wasn't really hard it was enjoyable so lets just place the exotic in the vault and add it to our collection and move on It isn't made for every adventure in the game but it will get used eventually 🤷♂️
