1 reflective flake per exotic mission completion, you are out of you f- mind
make it drp it now or then at every kill inside mission. make the same thing with tomb flake and tomb/contest of elders.
otherwise this is just absolutely garbage economic.
Edit: Bungie buffed the drops, 4 per normal run, 9 in expert (so I heard, I didn't play the mission after that).

2 RepliesYou probably already know, but I think Bungie snuck in a stealth update roughly 12 hours ago. Normal runs started dropping around 4, and legend runs started dropping around 9.

1 ReplyI saw this yesterday after doing the quest on all three characters. I worked out how many more times I would have to run the mission I had just run nine times and decided that nope, this game is just not worth any more of my time. Removing crafting so they can tie getting weapons to tonics ?? .. ridiculous. And then making you run expert mode about ten times to get all the tonics ?? .. Even more ridiculous. On top of all the other problems this game has ?? .. Nope. I am done. Best bit was that when I tried to delete the Catalyst quests 3 and 4 have no ability to Abandon. So you cannot delete them. And the so called story ending was lame, and I am being kind there. And the Season Pass is mostly just stuff we can get in game, why is a Season Pass that costs money giving me Glimmer ?? .. There are so many issues with this game that I am at the point where it's just time to move on. So I deleted all my characters and the vault. I started Warframe a few weeks back, I have no idea what I am doing right now but I am having a blast doing it. So many other games out there that I get excited about playing these days to waste time on Destiny.

Absolutely wild. The tonics are awful. We’re really grinding for basic materials again, just to make a timed potion, that might drop what we want? I used to chase all weapons for the patterns. Now I chased three weapons this whole season and one of them was a less than desirable roll. Which just feels so awful. This season is just SO not fun or rewarding. Least I’ve played since before WQ. First season pass I won’t finish.

Bungie still thinks this’s Y1 D1 where people actually didn’t mind the grind because its a new game, that was literally around 10 years ago lol People have moved on while bungie still living in the past, and not having seasonal craftable weapons was the ultimate indication of their ignorance/arrogance it is literally the main reason people play seasons/ePiSoDeS

Got the shotty and the mission is ok but no way I'm doing it that many times . Player fatigue is as bad it can get and they still don't think anything is wrong

A full run of v3 of the mission has consistently been netting me 4 reflective flakes. (Far from ideal, and still somewhat time consuming, but you can solo it easily) Hope this helps.

You are more than likely to get the drop you want want fron the mission than to get enough flakes to unlock the tonic for it This season has been a complete disaster , I have no hope for Heresy -

they need to star taking pages from PoE2, crazy how PoE2 with substantially more materialks grind ironically feels "more complete" in this regard than D2 does with substantially less materials to grind for :D Make all materials drop from all sources (minus spoils and adept stuff) but each content should have weighted chances based on the difficulty/scaling of said content. I aint running that mission AGAIN, its awful, its a crime to label it even as an exotic mission tbh. come next episode that tonic system is gunna be shelved big time (no pun intended)

It's fine as is. I've done a total of 5 runs and have unlocked all the new tonics but 1.
