Failure to keep promises.
I'm rather disappointed with this season. Especially act 3. We were promised by Bungie, that we would get a castlevania themed vampire hunting exotic mission. We have not. It isn't even close. I wish Bungie would quit blaming us for having to high of expectations, when they can't even follow through on the very things they promised in the first place. Our expectations are pretty low when they should be higher but Bungie did that to themselves. As someone who is a day 1 of D1 vet, Bungie you disappoint me.

You wont be disappointed. You won't believe bungie blames you for anything or any other nonsense like that.

They also said they wanted us to be able to use our favorite weapons in any activity and to be able play Destiny the way we wanted to. Only to turn around the very next season introduced artifacts and champions. Putting faith into anything they say at this point is silly.

2 RepliesOne thing players got to realise is that Bungie is EXTREMELY good at hyping the player base up for upcoming seasons/dlc's that everyone just buys it there and then forgetting all the times we were screwed over with lies.

Things they say & treat us like mugs. Remember the 10th anniversary, DMG said on twitter the intro quest was just the beggining & there was much more to come. Again giving ammo to defenders who then came to the forums defending bungie against anyone who dared complain about the anniversary with 'bungie said there's much more to come:. No surprise there was nothing else, zero, nothing, nada, just lies.

Bungie is good at using buzzwords to attract players Yes, I know they just gave Iron Banner "the FIRST ever" stasis rocket sidearm.....I just don't care

3 RepliesWhat those words mean to you probably mean entirely different things to the devs. Especially when we consider that they have to be applied as a theme, adapted to destiny, rather than a one to one translation. Personally, I felt like the themes were obviously there. My issue with the mission is moreso that it doesn't do anything to stand on its own gameplay wise, and at this point, we've gotten so used to exotic missions that just being another one isn't enough on it's own.

Eververse had more things inspired by vampires than everything else we got this Season.

5 RepliesEdited by Joulevette12: 1/11/2025 7:49:29 PMThat's not the only promise they broke ppl seem to forget they promised to add more perks to crafted weapons since it's released in WQ yet no increase to them yet we continuously get new crafted weapons What they should have done is The castle should have been a massive mission with each run you take alternative routes that lead to different boss encounters packed with secrets and lore like a throwback to Castlevania

Even the dialogue in the very beginning of the mission is light and fluffy, tongue in cheek. Everything is off at Bungie.

2 RepliesThey delivered on the promise. You just don't like the outcome. In their mind, each of the features you complain about is something they feel was achieved. This doesn't make them liars. Worst case scenario, it's the devs using the keywords as a scapegoat, but not a lie. Also, you shouldn't include the d1 vet crap like it matters on this platform. Everyone here is a d1 alpha day -1 vet when they feel like it. Holds no weight.
