Well, to Warframe I go.
I haven’t played Destiny 2 in a couple months, and looking at everything within those few months via the app.. Looks like I didn’t miss much — Bungie continuing to infuriate us with tedious grinds, the fanbase erupting into chaos.. Rightfully so anyways.
It’s pretty depressing when you think about it, but it is what it is. Bungie is slowly turning to Rockstar Games 2.0 in their own way.
Warframe 1999, Jade Shadows and Koumei & The Five Fates have been infinitely better than anything Bungie has put out since Lightfall.
However, if you people keep playing Destiny.. Complaining and all that; Bungie will keep making crap content. You gotta bleed them dry by neglecting the game altogether so that MAYBE, just maybe they can get their crap together.
Anyhow, I hope your New Years are off to a good start.. Except for Bungie’s entire team.

Definitely enjoy Warframe. I also like ESO. D2 is fun if you just play for the enjoyment of collecting loot and playing with friends. If you're really into small details and huge story etc then this isn't a good game for that. A lot of people complain about PVP and things being grindy and Bungie putting a lot of items into the store and while I definitely agree to some extent, that's kind of what these style games are about.. Minus PVP cheating of course. MMORPGs are about micro transactions and grinding. They want you to spend hours of time playing their game and spending money in the store. If that's not something a player is into that's completely okay but this isn't your average single player shooter like Doom or Rage or Halo or something along those lines. I think people have expectations about the game that aren't true of what this game really is. Almost every MMORPG I know of has a store and a lot of them you have to grind to get better armor weapons etc to level up and continue playing. That's exactly what you do in D2 and it's the same in Runescape. ESO, WOW, Warframe, Division 2 etc. Personally I've gotten tired of this game not because it's bad but because I'm more into solo games like Doom, Skyrim, Fallout, Rage etc. No stores. No grind. Can put it down and pick it back up when I have time. Glad you're going to Warframe if that's something you'll enjoy. ✌️
