Non-healing grenades aren't valuable enough

Just ask yourself, out of all the builds you have that could be using Healing Grenade, how many are actually using a damage option instead? Obviously we're not counting builds that use a grenade exotic, because those buff the damage options to make them more worthwhile, but when given the choice of an unbuffed damage grenade vs the healing grenade, how many people will actually choose a damage option? I don't know about you guys, but for me and everyone I know, the number of builds I have that take an unbuffed damage grenade over a healing grenade is extremely low. For me, the reason is that a little extra damage from a weak grenade is nothing compared to the survivability that the healing grenade provides. Most grenades in the game right now don't do much more damage than a couple extra weapon shots, especially it it's from your special or heavy weapon. Meanwhile the healing grenade helps keep you alive AND lets you get out more damage with your weapons, so you don't even really lose any damage. If anything, your damage output INCREASES by taking a healing grenade over a damaging one, because it keeps you alive to keep pumping out more damage for longer. And before people start saying Bungie should nerf Healing Grenade, that isn't a viable solution. They already jacked up the difficulty a long time ago, to make up for us having healing grenades. The real problem is that damaging grenades just don't deal enough damage to feel impactful. I think all it would take is a simple numbers buff, nothing complicated. They just need to feel like they're actually worth using without an exotic, and deal enough damage to justify taking them when you could be taking a healing grenade instead.
