Hello Bungie Support Team,
I’ve been enjoying Destiny 2 for a long time, and one aspect of the game I’d love to see improved is the ability to manage items in bulk—particularly when it comes to dismantling, locking, or unlocking items stored in the Vault. Currently, dismantling items can be time-consuming when done one by one, especially for players with hundreds of items to sort through.
Feature Suggestion
1. Multi-select in the Vault
- Allow players to select multiple items at once in the Vault interface (via a checkbox or highlight).
- After making selections, enable a single “Dismantle Selected” button, automatically dismantling all chosen items at once.
2. Bulk Lock/Unlock
- Provide a similar multi-select mechanism for locking or unlocking items in bulk.
- This would help players secure new equipment or quickly unlock items for dismantling.
3. Automatic Dismantle Settings (optional advanced feature)
- Let players set a rule (for example, “Auto-dismantle Rare items,” or “Auto-dismantle any weapons below a certain Power level”).
- This can be toggled on or off in the settings menu or when storing items.
Why This Matters
- Saves Time: Players can have hundreds of Legendary items across multiple characters and in the Vault. Manually dismantling each is tedious and prone to error.
- Prevents Mistakes: Locking a large batch of items ensures none are accidentally dismantled, while quickly unlocking a group you no longer need spares you from repetitive button presses.
- Quality of Life: Improves the endgame inventory experience, letting Guardians spend more time in actual gameplay rather than menu management.
I appreciate all the work the team does to enhance player experience in Destiny 2, and I hope you’ll consider adding a feature like this in a future update. Many players would benefit from a more efficient inventory management system, especially within the Vault.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to any updates or responses you can provide.

First Descendent has this option, you can set rules on what gets dismantled and what gets saved It's needed because you drowned in loot , and after level 100 most of it is useless
