Seriously why is it only 2 for most and 3 for some of the lackluster aspects? Warlocks don’t have a single aspect outside of Prismatic with 3 while Hunter and Titans have multiple within their subclasses, just across the board make them all have 3, if it’s the fear of ‘breaking’ something, who cares? You nerf everything anyway

Better yet, do away with the Fragment Slots on Aspects, and just allow us to equip up to 5 Fragments in total. This system of tying Fragment Slots to Aspects was terribly flawed from the start. The criteria made no sense, and Bungie eventually had to increase the number of slots on many Aspects.

The same aspects that are stronger on Prismatic have 3 slots while the mono counterparts have 2. And don’t forget, it takes Bungie 3-6 months to implement the change, assuming they been able to even recognise the issue to begin with.

I don't see why the limitations exist to begin with. As someone who likes to have 100 res and 100 recov, I pretty much always have to use all of my fragments/aspects to maximize stat bonuses, additionally, why do some of them come with penalties? That also needs to go. I'm not gonna use a fragment that hurts my resil in a game where not being at max resil is throwing due to everything hitting like a truck.

Because devour is broken on prismatic warlock. Because knockout is broken on prismatic Because stylish executioner is broken on prismatic. I wouldn't be surprised if consecration on titan became a 2 fragment aspect after the way it ran through content this season.
...if it’s the fear of ‘breaking’ something, who cares? You nerf everything anyway
I've been of this persuasion for quite some time. They can either let the game exist with this one dimensional meta. OR They can blow up the sandbox and let everything be OP. Because they'll nerf it eventually anyways. Instead, they'll trickle drip what's OP when to keep their jobs EZ and PUSH CONTENT.

Bungie doesn't have a clue how everything interacts as it is until the players discover it for them and we get the inevitable "WE have identified a bug causing ****** to benefit the player unduly / being utilised to an oppressive level so will be tuning at next patch." etc etc. More fragments = more possible combinations and interactions = Bungie even more clueless when it comes to possible interactions. A real shame as more fragments would be fun, something Destiny needs to rediscover and soon.
-
Agreed! They should all probably have 5-6 fragments like Prismatic. At the very least Warlock should have a subclass or two that gets 5, just like Hunter and Titan.
-
Ya definitely agree on this. If anything, there should be at least ONE combo option with 5 fragment slots.

Yep, totally agree. 👍
