Anyone defending Bungie at this point is dense af. 700+ employees who are paid well. No way Marathon will save this company.

It's my personal opinion but Episode 1 wqs disappointment Episode 2 wasn't because i followed the "Keep your expectations low and you will never be disappointed." rule and i going to follow this rule before the launch of Episode 3 and after the launch of Episode 3

Destiny 2 has been missed opportunity after missed opportunity after missed opportunity. My expectations for Heresy, aren't low; they're non-existent.

Vex story was crap but had nice craftable guns. Fallen story was dumber than Vex, and had worse loot, the only good thing was a perk called Jolting Feedback which should just replace useless Voltshot. No craftable guns so nothing I got was worth it aside from Iron Banner pistol. Oryx instead of Xivu? what is the madness to the method here? I guess we'll see. Imperial Armor is interesting.

Yeah, I'm feeling really washed up, recycle content, yes, few new guns, smg looks intriguing, oryx back again, back to vog. Hmmm, that is my last annual pass and no pre order. Still, there is no other game like Destiny but can't ride nostalgia over and over. Funny thing at the beginning of a stream . he didn't even know the first dude name. Read it from the card, at that moment I knew it would be kinda disappointing.

Boons and tonics, fundamental changes to how the game is played alienating the overall architecture of what Destiny is… these fools don’t understand how to make side games, or expansion games… they rather shove a bunch of garbage into a game that already has a core and just destroy it. I now understand why Microsoft stripped Bungie of Halo, it’s because they literally destroy franchises with arrogance and misdirection.

So you guys in the comments are essentially saying that you are not going to take days off for the awesome new seaso.. oh excuse me episode launch for destiny 2 the video game, as suggested by the people in the livestream? Wow how could you not waste a valuable paid day off on the exact same timegated trash we've been eating up since forever? Very ungrateful for all the hard work thats been put into these awesome copy and paste creations where the devs literally admitted to knowing how low effort these seasons, excuse me again, ePiSoDeS were with the holo projector/vendor trash. I was legit mind boggled.

Most definitely. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Dreadnaught as a setting and the reveal has actually made me interested enough to log in and give it a try when it drops. Big Taken King nostalgia feels. Weapons look interesting. And it very much looks like a dry run for 'Frontiers' But I already know that what we've seen will probably mostly be 'it'. I never really trusted Bungie to deliver what they promised, but somehow they managed to drop that bar even further (is anyone else still waiting for the vampires to turn up in Revenant)? There's also no point in chasing armor if they're trashing all that in three month's time, other than for the transmog so that's, what, maybe a week's run or a season pass completion for all the options? Bungie was a company leaning into 'under delivery' (by their own admission), but now they seem committed to it.

I'm not going to buy this episode not worth the story anymore, D2 is finished for me don't know about anyone else the destiny in this game is end game pve and pvp. The more story bungie keeps adding is just life support. -

Honestly, we’ll probably get a taken inspired one in Eververse but I don’t think it’ll be exactly like the D1 armor. That one worked and was cohesive because you literally couldn’t shade it. To look like that Bungie would have to go in and manually assign textures to each weapon/weapon model.
