Bungie needs to be testing over and over that the "Heretical Arsenal" adepts will not have issues with drops, or any other glitches.
Test this and retest this right now. If I see an announcement that adepts are not dropping properly next season like double perk weapons from this season, it will be only incompetence and only the fault of the devs.

Might be a hot take but, all weapons should drop with extra perks. Vendor resets don't fully reset, they only go down by 1 after the season ends. So if you have 5 resets, then by next season you'll still have 4 extra perks on your dropped weapons. Additionally, ALL adepts at base drop with double perks.

The test seems to be at the low low bar of if you can load into the activity and complete it then thats good enough. It doesn't matter if half of it doesn't work. Really the amount of stuff they release broken that should have been caught and identified as broken in even the most basic 5 minute playtest strongly suggests they either really don't bother to check any of it works past the can you load and run it point. Or that they knowingly release it broken in order to meet deadlines and then act surprised after the fact. So I guess the question is are they liars or incompetents or both.

Problem there is that not only do they only have one guy in QA, they also don't test a single thing in this game seeing as how they show themselves with 2040 weapons in their streams meaning they don't even test their game with power disabled/minus power.

The last season should have had double perks on all the weapons anyway and it never would have been a problem. Makes loot less boring. More people might farm the boring activities and boost the numbers if the loot was worthwhile.
