am i the only one who thinks they chose lame armor for star wars?
no space wizards or famous bounty hunters or even mandalorians. no 2 types of stormtroopers and a guard

Probably because theres different rules for main characters as opposed to general character designs. Whatever the rules are there will be either copyright stuff or just other factors. However, Bungie aint giving enough to the player base. Given the current state of the game and how -blam!- everything has been.
