Is there a way to unlink my Xbox account from my steam account without having to restart my steam account. I've been playing Destiny 2 since beta and have had so much fun with the game. I just no longer use my Xbox and my brother wants to start using it to play Destiny 2 as well. I was just wondering if there was a way to unlink my Xbox account and essentially change the main account for my destiny to steam instead of it being Xbox. If someone could answer this for me that would be greatly appreciated.

4 RepliesHey there, no this is not possible. Your characters are tied to the XBox account on which they were created, all progress and inventory, etc. There is no way to transfer this progress to Steam, only to do what you are already doing, sharing it to Steam through cross-save. But if cross-save was cancelled, the characters would become inaccessible on Steam.
