So I had gotten my own pc recently after playing on my dads and was trying to cross save all my data from my dads pc to my new pc, we both have separate steam accounts due to both of us not being able to be on at the same time. However when I would try and connect my steam account with his steam account it wouldn’t show that as an option. It only showed options to connect to Playststion, Epic Games and other platforms. Is this something that needs to be done from his pc rather than mine?

That's not possible with cross-save. You cannot have 2 Steam accounts within a cross-save setup, you can only include one of each platform account.

Edited by EckyThump: 3/12/2025 10:17:48 AMHey there, cross-save cannot be used to link accounts from the same platform. The purpose of cross-save would be, for example, to let someone use their PSN characters on Steam. Your Destiny 2 data is tied to your own Steam account, and has no link to or dependency on your father's Steam account or PC. All you should need to do is launch the game using that account on your new PC. Your game data is all stored online so there's no data to move from the other PC.
