I honestly have no idea what's going on this season/episode story wise. Eris "dies", Drifter and Sloane take to guiding you, Sloane had you acquire taken essence... You can't really be reading text while trying to fight off hordes of taken .. so half the time I get caught off guard at Drifter suddenly yelling to himself.. (yes, I understand WHY there is no voice acting, and I support the cause and dedication) Theb Out of nowhere we get a holi of Drifter saying he's taking off... But then they still have him yelling at himself when you're in the nether. I just started act 2 and there's something about saving Eris - since when did they know she was alive???!! (Of course we knew, but they didn't) I liked the witch queen story, and the season of the witch. But this just seems like it was thrown together half a**ed with no linear thought. Did I miss some type of unlock for storyline? 😂 -side note, I actually am enjoying the guardian games, and the fact they actually made a new activity for it - which they should have done for the festival of the lost and the Dawning. - but it seems like the "rewards" are lacking. And nothing worth buying the upgrade ticket. Personally I like the armor sets for guardian games as well.
