Urgent: Need help unlinking Xbox account before March 25 deadline.
Hello,
I need assistance to unlink my Xbox account from my Bungie profile due to security concerns. However, the 90-day cooldown prevents unlinking before the upcoming restriction on account unlinking takes effect on March 25, 2025.
I prefer not to disclose specific account details publicly. Could Bungie Support assist me in unlinking the Xbox account to ensure my account remains secure before the restriction is enforced?

Edited by ADragonWithin: 3/16/2025 10:23:00 AMIf you're still part of a Cross-Save, you'll need to disable that first, then unlink the account. Bypassing the 90-day wait for disabling Cross-Save isn't possible. If you cannot authenticate to the account, Bungie will not forcefully unlink an account for you, as you must authenticate to it yourself in order to unlink it, or to disable Cross-Save if it's enabled. Bungie hasn't stated any plans as of yet to assist anyone that is currently in a locked-in Cross-Save due to Silver purchases, so if you're currently in a Cross-Save and you cannot disable it due to a Silver purchase, there's nothing to be done at this time, as you currently must wait out the 90-days. Hopefully one of those responses answers your specific issue. Ultimately, to unlink an account, Cross-Save must not be enabled, and you must authenticate to it in order to unlink it. There are no other options.
