Getting booted from activities or visiting the Tower, Rushdown completion is blocked
Hi,
I am experiencing a lot of networking error codes in the past two days especially.
Most frequently I get booted between encounters, before landing on a planet, or visiting different named areas on a planet by one of the networking error codes. It seems to be random.
I have already seen cabbage, currant, rabbit, hare error codes in the past two days many times.
I already got booted from activities a lot of times in the past two days.
Joining to a team when they are on a planet usually ends up with getting booted out with an error message (>50% of the times but not 100% based on my experience).
I cannot complete even Rushdown warm-up since between encounters the game checks on me and boots me between one of the encounters and does not let the others start the encounter. I can complete encounters and jump on the next one but between one of them at least I get booted.
All of my received boots seemed quite random without any information to me or my teammates.
It happens also when I can complete activites without getting booted. I was able to complete an expert nightfall without getting booted. I spend there 71 minutes in one go but no boots happened even when we were wiped. There is usually a check. I completed Sundered Doctrine dungeon without getting booted in the 65 minutes I spent in the dungeon and complete the whole thing.
I did yesterday last wish raid and was booted three times randomly between encounters. Joining back to the team I spent ~10-15 minutes to get back per occasion, sometimes with voice chat down. All the attempts were ended up with one of the error messages.
About my configuration.
I am using a HUAWEI EchoLife HG8121H GPON terminal (that what is written on the modem/router) to connect to Destiny services.
I am using this device for 3 years to play other online games with succession. Destiny 2 falls into this category.
Another background info.
I wiped my SSD to reinstall my OS and free up space (Windows) at 20th February 2025.
I have never changed my router settings or game connection settings before or after the SSD wipe.
I verified Destiny files once through Epic services. I did not solve networking errors.
These error messages I started receiving them since I reinstalled my OS. In the past two days they became more frequent.
Sometimes, but sometimes only, when I enter to the game I am welcomed with a message "Your connection is a Strict NAT" but still I can do matchmaking and join into an activity and sometimes complete it. In other cases I get booted.
I checked the Troubleshooting guide also if any quick fixes help but none of them helped already.
So all of my error messages seem random to me, I can complete activities sometimes but not all of them.
It is getting very annoying right now that certain activites are blocked and restricted, team joining takes a lot of time, get marked by having boots in certain timeframes randomly for a longer time. I do have internet connection still and visit webpages while struggling to join a team.
I do not know what to do on networking side to play activites in the game without having the fear that I will get booted sometime randomly.
Please help me how to solve this issue.
Regards,
Gyuzzi
