Regardless of the current population and sentiment about Bungie as a company, the game has honestly never been better.
I could go down a list of reasons why I feel this way, with all of the QoL changes, to the variety of the playlists, and build diversity and reward diversity. However, the thing that makes it the best is seen through examine of how they are as an enjoyable experience. This can be measured by what I call...The Three Pillars of Game Enjoyment.
1. Complexity
2. Game feel
and
3. Consistency.
At no point in the history of this game was there a time when it felt this fully fleshed out, along with a high rating in each of those categories. The complexity is seen by having a wide range of skill levels represented. The game feel is obviously a slam dunk, no argument from anyone. The consistency is how consistent they bring out the best of what they have to offer, with little to no bugs that cause errors to affect your interaction with the game. Regardless of bugs that do appear (especially in Live Service games), most are fixed and most don't really stop you from playing the game as a whole.
We are living at the best time to be a gamer, with so many banger games out there to experience and get lost in for hours. And this one is one of the brightest stars of them all!

The cope is strong If only 20k people are playing a game worldwide, it's more than likely just not fun to play I am still addicted to the dopamine hits of getting rare rolls to drop , that's really the only reason I come back, getting back into Warframe opened my eyes to what a real live evolving game looks like, and makes D2 seem dated and stale
