Constantly having to login to the forums is annoying.
Title says it all.
What is the session timeout set to? 5 minutes? 10?
Make an option to stay logged in, please.

1 ReplyIf you login via another account e.g. playstation, then the sessions are very short as the oauth tokens only have a short lifetime to protect you.

I run a clan when recruiting its a pain in the butt, 10 minutes and its yet another log in .. Option to stay logged in would be common sense, right there is the issue, Bungie cannot be associated with abusive language such as the disgusting term "common sense", this will get ninja's for sure, lmao

On the phone is fine for me but on my laptop l have re-login every few hours and this has been happening for a few years now

I've never had that problem but I only get on here with my phone. My only problem is the clunky UI. I have to back out of the forums in order to see replies to comments, or move to a different section. Why isn't it available from within the forums page? Why isn't there a drop down menu with all of that available from anywhere within the app? Why is it a section all unto itself, where you have to back out of where you are to view it?

If you're writing a post, it logs you out, the work around is to make another tab then log in don't know about a phone but it works on laptops desktops and consoles. -

Man - I am so glad that I wasn't the only one to find this updated session time-out annoying as all heck. Whatever they have done to their session tokens needs to be tweaked to increase the lifetime variable.

agree 100%. that timeout needs to be on the scale of hours at least. if i log into the forums in the morning, i want to stay logged in at least that full day. it probably has to do with the change to linking accounts but still, give us one day before forcing us to re-log in.

Phone app has kept me signed in (doesn't help if you refer to a different way to access it).
