This is the fourth time I've had to post this since the season started. Since the new season I am being disconnected from game instances at least every 20 to 30 minuets. There have been three different error codes; baboon,weasel and anteater.
On searching the Bunige help guides, these all relate to networking issues, however my internet has had no connection issues with general outgoing or incoming connections or any other games (apparently confirming connection stability in other games is not necessary). I am aware I am experiencing packet loss but there have been not solutions provide by Bungie or the community. These disconnects have only begun occurring since the update for the new season.
These are the steps and outcomes from the Bungie troubleshooting steps:
Closing and restarting the Destiny application on their platform (no change in the stability of the game)
Restarting and clearing the cache of their platform (file integrity verified in Steam, not problems detected, no change in the stability of the game))
Power cycling their network hardware (no change in the stability of the game)
Switching to a wired connection if the player is currently using a WiFi connection (have only been using a wired connection, no change in the stability of the game)
Contacting their Internet Service Provider to troubleshoot potential issues with network traffic, stability, or packet loss (this is the only connection I have experiencing issues with so they will not be able to help me)
Searching the Destiny Help Knowledge Base for the associated error page and working through any additional troubleshooting suggested on the page (no actual solutions apart from change to wired connection or enable UPnP which was already enabled. Not going to try forwarding ports because it shouldn't be necessary. No change in the stability of the game))
Reading through the other pages of the Network Troubleshooting Guide (surprisingly not helpful)
Searching or posting in the #Help forums where Destiny Player Support, Mentors, and community volunteers may be able to provide additional assistance (even more surprisingly not helpful at all)
Is there a known issue with people from the Australian region experiencing networking issues which has not been admitted to by Bungie and when will they fix it?
