Greetings! How y'all doin? Just kidding, it's my turn to talk.
First off, music. I know, I know (though you may not) it seems half of what I (rarely) talk about is music. Perhaps a tad bit too autistic, if there is such a thing (Of course not!).
I've been trying to put together a list of my favorite bands for now. Right now I've got a mix of classics and my esoteric uber niche post metal projects.
View said list below, if you feel so inclined.
1 - Masayoshi Takanaka
Perhaps I ought to have said "music artists" instead of bands, but technically Takanaka plays with a band, so maybe I don't care and the imaginary demon nit-picking my post can refrain from leavinf an imaginary comment. City-pop / Japanese Jazz-Fusion / Brazilian Samba (Yes, fr.)
2 - CRX
A side project band for The Strokes. I'll be honest, never listened to the Strokes or any others, just CRX. Honesty is important, kiddos. I know at least one of the 3 sentient creatures seeing this list has worn a Nirvana shirt without actually being a Nirvana fan. It's ok. God will forgive you at the gates. -blam!- if I know the genre. Funky alternate rock? Sure. Leave me alone.
3 - Tallah
Self-described Nu-core. For you embryos who may not understand, that means Tallah is a combination of the glorious Nu-metal movement, which itself is a fusion of 00's hip-hop and the rock/metal movements of the time, and Deathcore, also itself a fusion between classical death metal and the metalcore/hardcore scenes. If I got anything wrong here I honestly don't give a -blam!-, I know elitists like to burst a blood vessel and blow steam Majin Buu-style if you manage to get something wrong about their favorite genre. I don't care. You shouldn't either.
4 - Limp Bizkit
This is my designated "classics" spot. This rotates per week, if I'm being honest. This week its just a Break Shit week, yknow? Nothing more to be said, if you don't know what Limp Bizkit is you need to start listening to music more than once a year.
Honorable - The Angelic Process / alexalone
I just had to add them here. Ambient or Atmospheric drone metal. Super experimental stuff that just.. puts me in a whole other universe.
5 - Femtanyl
If you cringed reading that, I would apologize. Again, I don't actually care though. I like her older, harsh (almost rave-styled, I might guess?) work, and also her new stuff. Worldwid3 is crazy good. Her new track is a great divergence of her previously establish style with stuff like KATAMARI and LOVESICK, CANNIBAL that's a little more chill. I love all of it.
There's probably more, too. I've been getting more and more into EDM and IDM subgenres recently. Lots of Jumpstyle/Hardstyle, some classic Breakbeat, Jungle (especially Ragga Jungle), and a healthy dose of Rally House. Plus, plenty of cool artists with names too vulgar to mention on this baby site. But I gotta limit it to 5 for my sake. Based on this meagre selection, and for those elect few honorable and cool enough to recognize these artists, y'all got any reccomendations for me? If you couldn't tell, my preference is EDM / Metal subgenres, but I listen to everything. Seriously. Shoot anything cool or niche you have found my way, PLEASE!!
A couple personal things, if you care / are curious.
Outside of my music taste, the past few months have been good to me. While I have an easy life with a pair of upper middle class parents who love me, my own (admittedly angsty) -blam!- manages to clash with them quite often, but we've recently come to a couple comprimises that make it quite easier to like them.
Ah, ahah. I'm failing an online dual Per Finance class, somehow. God, I don't know how I manage it. It's nearly funny. Turns out their spring break is 2 weeks after ours, though. Good to know at the end of our spring break, amirite?
Yeah, I'm still in school. I graduate and go off to college in... 8 weeks? Good lord. I found this forum in middle school. I personally don't know how much more bearable I've gotten over the years, but I like to think I'm at least more interesting. Luckily, I'll be going to a local college that's got pretty low tuition, so I don't have to worry too much. I'll be able to stay at my parent's for school too, because it's not a far commute, so no dorm expenses.
I know there's a couple middle schoolers who have crawled their way onto this forum. Please do not be afraid to be cringe. You'll prolly regret it later, I know I do. God, my early days on this forum are hellish to think about. But that's also part of the fun, so, there's that.
Aight, I gotta go. Hungry 'n stuff. Good day, Offtopic, I'll be back later to post EVEN MORE about music.

How does a tank even go to college? You can't fit through the doors!
