I'm switching to pc and need help getting my characters over to steam.
My first account with d2 was with Xbox and currently play on PlayStation. I have cross play enabled where i can access my characters on PlayStation. No issues there.
When I access d2 on steam it shows up with a new character and not the ones I've been playing with.
When I go to cross save settings on bungie I see at the bottom it has my Xbox characters shown and has all my accounts linked so I'm really confused on what is causing this problem.

Not sure if I need to deactivate cross play, if I try to do that I have to wait since I recently added sliver to my account. https://imgur.com/lDvzgd

When you launch it on Steam, is the Bungie Name shown the same displayed on the character screen 'varg#7243'? Deactivating cross-save then reactivating it later could fix it, but it's not a guaranteed fix - it would also come with the cooldowns. Your current silver purchase cooldown and then a further 90 days to reactivate after deactivating. One of the BNGHelp accounts should be able to weigh in later on once they're in the offices (roughly 8/9 or so hours from now) and they should be able to check the cross-save setup you have to say if any accounts aren't properly linked.

I am in the same situation , i just bought all the D2 content on Steam , started up the game and it had new characters, closed down steam and went to cross save on bungie.net . It had me authenticate with steam , but the new hunter character was there. I tried multiple times and it would not change . Ive tried everything I can think of , it has my xbox account on the cross play page, but the steam account is the new character . I sign into steam and activate the cross play and its just now transferring over . Beyond frustrating and I feel really dumb . I read you have to deactivate but theres no option to do that either. I cant figure out how to make my xbox the primary, which i read is what youre suppose to do . I really need a bungie employee to walk me through it.
