How does a post get removed for linking to a different post that was still up about a player intentionally trolling games? Are mods here actually that incompetent? Or does the player in question have mod friends?

Name and Shaming is a CoC violation. You can critique the problem itself, but cannot however link to things that directly name and shame players. Whether or not it should be a thing is a separate issue but ultimately would you want people posting about you on here 'rage quitting' if you disconnected or 'cheating' because you had a good game?

Name and shame. It's one of the most common rules in gaming forums and is to prevent witch hunts ESPECIALLY false ones. Also not 100% sure but I've heard companies can be held liable if witch hunts happen and they turn into actual issues (Such as someone being hunted and beaten) that could've been prevented by the company.
