D2 is not a live service game
If D2 would be a live service game we would NOT have this madness pvp meta.
Why ist Bungie doing nothing against invis hunters, redrix and fusions?
Invis+fusion was stupid years ago, nothing happened. Only other stupid metas were coming.
Now we have the king of stupid meta.
And Bungie destroys her own pvp cause of this meta.

Invis has been changed multiple times. It’s at the point now that it’s a moving shadow. If you can’t see it maybe get your vision checked, better video output or quit staring at your radar. 🤷🏻♂️

1 ReplyDestiny 2 IS a live service game, D1 WAS a live service game. And it being or not PvP has NOTHING to do with a game being live service or not. Genshin Impact doesn't have PvP. Zenless Zone Zero doesn't have PvP. They're gachas AND live service. Also, you're complaining as if this has been the worst meta ever. Remember threadling spam? How about Shatterdive? Citan's Ramparts? Antaeus Wards? DMT? There's been seriously egregious metas in the past, and I can assure you hunters going invis, doing literally what the subclass is made to do, doesn't compare to having your entire team wiped with 1 glacier grenade or fighting a prenerf Citan's ramparts team. Cry about it harder, this meta is perfectly fine, the only reason people are complaining so much is because Guardian Games is active.

Ffs, they will forever and always have something in particular being OP "breaking" the game because that's what keeps crucible fresh. If you had the same perfectly balanced sandbox forever it would get so unbelievably stale and boring so fast. Target lock immortal, DMT, Hard Light, NTTE, now Estoc... making these things OP incentives people to use different things for a change instead of the exact same loadout for 8 years straight

If you required an internet connection and an console subscription then it is an live service game otherwise you won’t get updates and expansions plus other features like quality of life changes and improvements It’s like people misusing the word Ex Machina just to farm outrage.

I love how people deny what Destiny 2 is. It is, and always has been, live service. The seasons that last to the end of the year, the expiring DLC that get's vaulted every so often (Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken) it's a fact that Destiny 2 is live service. On that note; PVP is just a side hustle. It's not the main interest for Bungie. I wouldn't be surprised if it just isn't present in the next Destiny game. PVP is the source of alot of "balancing" that winds up backfiring because it's impossible to balance a game like Destiny. It's also the source of most of the toxicity in Destiny. It's like Sea of Thieves' arena game mode: Only 10-20% of people actually play it, yet over 90% of the toxicity reports originate from it... Give or take on the latter number knowing Destiny players...

Destiny is not a PVP focus game and will be supported as such.... crucible, trials and banner are a side mode to support destiny and not the main gameplay loop... as soon as people realize this is not an E sport and will never be one will have more fun in the OPTIONAL PVP arcade modes

Cause there is no one ….well minimal people . PvP seems to be getting worse every week now . On my 3rd attempt to find a quick play game …not looking great .
