Hey guys, I've decided to come back to Destiny after a few years and wanted to start from the beginning (Oh, the nostalgia!) but I've come across some issues that I need help figuring out. I recently got a new physical copy of Destiny 1 for the Xbox 360 because I remember when I played it, that was the console I started with and had gotten the first two expansions from. It installed these Compatibility Packs, and after discussing with Xbox Support, we've confirmed that I have all of them downloaded. However, I still have the Content Lock message of "Required Expansion" for anything DLC-related. Now comes the fun part. I remember at some point when the Xbox One had come out, Destiny shifted things. Bungie allowed a transfer from the "legacy" console to the current-gen console (360 -> One) and I did that. I had played on the Xbox One for the remainder of Destiny's run until Destiny 2 came along where I played both Console and PC. With that being said, I'm stuck on figuring out how I can replay Destiny 1 and all of its DLC that I purchased. I've tried inserting the 360' Destiny 1 Disc into the Xbox One, and got an incompatibility error for the game. I found that Destiny 1 also has an Xbox One physical disc version for when that console released, so I'm stuck here wondering what to do next. I don't know if I ever had the physical disc for Destiny 1 on the Xbox One. That game is not listed in my library nor is it available in the Xbox Store. Perhaps I did have a physical disc, assuming it would be listed if it was a digital version of the game upon the transfer? I wish I remembered more about physical/digital, but this was what... 6-7 years ago? TLDR; do I need to buy the physical disc for Xbox One' Destiny 1 to regain all of the content I had purchased, or is there something else I'm missing that I could do instead?
