PsiOps Battleground: Moon needs …

To be moved into the DCV and never come back. EVER. It’s time consuming beyond farmable. So far I have 0 clears using fireteam finder. Mind you I’ve played with crazy good PvE players and some terrible ones for this strike. This tells me that players are very challenged by this strike and need some strike team master PHD to make it through. Also that second encounter. WTF! Who thought 12 crystals was just enough to pass as fun. No! It just takes more of our time. Half of that would be 100s of times better. Also the amount of one shot bullshhh is annoying AF. I don’t know about everyone else but I constantly hear people say the same thing about all the Battlegrounds; haven’t you Bungie? Maybe you need to run a bunch of FT finder runs to hear all the complaints. I use to think people were just being babies but now I think I have to side with them. I’m just tired of the BS. While I’m ranting; why is it that every time the Slammer is the weekly Vanguard weapon; it falls on a crap strike. What gives?! Would love to farm for the two rolls I want but the strikes are just so dame time consuming. Vault the strike and give the Slammer a farmable strike. And don’t you dare do it on a week I can’t farm. Don’t you dare.

  • This is where GM's should be. They need to vault the 8-15min easy GM's where all I get done is chasing my teamates. Queue in vanguard strikes if you want that. Psi Ops, Heist, Liminality, Lightblade are at the correct difficulty level for GM's. People have just gotten too used to running through them like they are normal vaguard strikes. Yes LFG is bad. But that is because of bad play. People need to quit just running in and dieing and instead first scan the battlefield and play accordingly.

  • What I’ve had work pretty consistently for me is having a good consecration titan do pretty much all the ad clear and mini-boss killing and have another person on bubble titan to drop a bubble on the spears when the savathuns spawn in. Third can be anything but arc titan for safe dps is a pretty solid choice. During the second savathun phase when two of them spawn in, focus on the right one first and once it’s dead you can safely kill the other from the right side.

      • Your experience with 0 clears is what I have found often occurs during the week. As a result, I now leave GMs until the weekend. Then I assemble a team of randoms and clear the GM. Usually, I am able to clear it on the first attempt, but sometimes a second attempt is required if the GM is difficult. BTW do not overlook tonics and the Tome. These work synergistically with the other parts of your build. Every factor is important, especially this week with the type of Champions and their weapons requirements.

      • I thought I was going crazy. It’s crazy because we’ve cleared this GM before in the past and for some weird reason, it feels ridiculously more difficult than ever. The Insta kill moths don’t help either. This GM can go in the trash can where it belongs. And yes I’m aware that this can be cleared with arc titan or strongholds. It’s just a boring play style that I hate.

        • The best part is when the spear bugs and do not appear if someone dies while grabbing it. Really fun times.

          bg are really fun, psiops boss rooms not really, savathun really needs a nerf or at least make the spear do a fixed damage that doesn't scale with delta power

        • The things I am noticing IF, big if, incorporated yet. Agro and latency issues. Bungie has been talking about increasing agro in the game. I am usually the top player per enemy kills in said nightfall… And I am feeling the agro… But I am getting killed by things not on my screen or by things that are unable to kill me. Due to the agro system AND latency, I am pulling enemy fire that can not keep up with what I am seeing on the screen let alone frozen unstoppables that somehow still slam although their arms are frozen in the air. If I go down, especially in a GM, it has led to a wipe more times than not. I am fine dying due to my mistakes… But if there is nothing I can do due to what I am seeing or not seeing, it is very frustrating. I am also noticing other players dying to nothing. They were safe, they were nowhere near enemy fire.. yet they just fall dead then all of a sudden there is pool of fire at their body. I am running fiber 1000 up and 1000 down. I love helping players… but even expert is hit or miss due to the above scenarios. Next would be void bane’s. I have mentioned them since they were introduced. Way over-tuned. Their agro gaze will cross the map. Then the spear sections. Way under powered and breaks the pace of the nightfall. Add in agro, latency, and 5 minutes of throwing spears… it breaks the nightfalls “fun” aspect.

          • Do you not have all GM’s available to you? I can do the ones that I’ve already completed for my next gild so I would assume you can pick whatever one you want and farm it.

              • GM have been ridiculous since act II, my guess is Bungie is trying to reward active communication, meta load-out and support role. Which is a crapshoot when you are using FTF. In the last room, second boss phase, the spears spawn 6 feet in front of the boss waiting to wipe you in one shot. Even when I managed to grab the spear and ran I was still shot mid-air behind cover. Again Bungie, there is a fine line between: challenging and frustrating. Stop going for the easy solution of just scaling everything stronger it just ends up in a non sense where 99% of the time we just spin the wheel of FTF hoping that by the draw of luck this time we’ll win. Don’t make GM easy, but connect through FTF and play with a few randos like us and let us know if you still think it works as intended.

                  • It’s not that hard just pay attention I ran it with lfg couple times and got it beat both times you have to remember don’t play like your playing in the strike play list. So many people just want to beat it in 10 mins and have no challenge now I do think the savathun parts have to much health they could drop their health so instead of 6 spears maybe make it 3 it would feel a lot better but that’s it

                    • News flash, fireteam finder is absolutely trash. The only people that use it are absolutely trash. Anyone with half an IQ and desire to participate in higher end content use the LFG discord. Ain’t no way you’d catch an honest to god, good player try and scrape together a team off of the in-game fireteam finder. Download discord, create an account, join the official D2 LFG server, verify your account, and have fun finding actual good players that all have mics and an ability to comprehend high level content

                    • The biggest issue that we faced in this "strike", is the banes. Banes are minor/elite, but have health like a mini-boss... so weapons with Vorpal dont help. I ran a well Warlock to help my friends clear, so used Vorpal for my rocket sidearm, and it feels like those banes suck so much ammo when trying to clear them out. The random hypernova spawning in while we were dunking caused a few wipes in the trophy hall. We kind of figured out a system with the trophy hall to make it relatively safe, but in general the GM is one of the slowest ones I have done. Especially the savathun spears which feel like it goes on for an eternity. This is definitely not one to farm. I may run it once more to get the checkmark on my friends Conqueror title, but then I am done with it. The boss room is better than Cosmodrome, but the trophy hall isnt fun at all. Its not that its difficult, its just tedious and the lucent hive being able to one shot you basically anywhere on the map with the blade barrage is a pain.
