Let me start off by saying that the concept is a fantastic one. One person per class on paper sounds so cool, especially given the Guardian Games tie-in, BUT the population simply isn't there for this mode.
I have literally got into ONE MATCH IN 40 MINUTES OF QUEUE TIME!
I've seen the "we couldn't find a match" message more times than I've seen opponents today! I cannot, for the life in me, understand how you deem this to be acceptable.
There are so many more people queuing as Hunters than there are the other classes, which means that they (we) have a much longer queue time on average.
And no, switching to a Warlock or a Titan isn't an acceptable workaround either. People shouldn't have to switch to a different class just to be able to play a particular mode.
As requested in the title, PLEASE remove the one Guardian per class stipulation 🙏🏾

The wait time between matches has been insane

Imagine the backlash from Titans if they put the 1 of each class requirement in rushdown -
if you are hunter is a problem yeah, if you are lock or titan is fantastic , but who the hell is playing this weekend for a super old gun ?

Sounds like you play hunter. Try new things youll get faster queue times and funny experiences ! You dont need to exclusively use a hunter in trials after all.

Edited by wikked75: 3/29/2025 10:26:18 AMjust waiting to get a match started., then times that by however many matches it takes me to get a decent streak and then get the 7 wins… to play on disjunction? no thanks.

Outside of the wait time I actually like only being one of each. Then you don’t have to fight against 3 of whatever is op.

Honestly the whole Guardian Games tie-in doesn't justify this at all. You're going to wait until the last weekend of the event to do this? When Titans are so far ahead you might as well end the event prematurely. Also, how does it make sense to spend the entire event isolating the classes, but then for this one time you decide to have the classes stand together? If you really wanted to tie Trials into Guardian Games, you would have matchmaking be Class v. Class like Gambit and Supremacy. And I can guarantee no one wants that.

Queue as something other than hunter and you're set.
There are so many more people queuing as Hunters than there are the other classes, which means that they (we) have a much longer queue time on average.
This is because Hunters are easily the top class in PvP right now (and generally have been so over the game's lifespan). Titans are perfectly serviceable, Warlocks are very much in the doldrums. Particularly against better players, any match as a Titan or Warlock where youdon't come up against 3 Hunters is a massive blessing. People may say "just swap to Hunter then" but it's exactly as you put it, no one should have to change classes just to get a half-decent experience. At one point last week, there had been more Void Hunters in Trials than Titans or Warlocks of any subclass. I should think that having a more level playing field for one weekend can be given a pass.

fusions should be banned in PvP :) - old
Not having to play against just bolt charge titans or just invis hunters is amazing. I just looked at your loadout, yikes…Tommy’s matchbook invis and RDM. Plz bungie add a few hours to this guys search times. -
Hunter tears are the best. So play Warlock... no waiting. LOL
