Let me start off by saying that the concept is a fantastic one. One person per class on paper sounds so cool, especially given the Guardian Games tie-in, BUT the population simply isn't there for this mode.
I have literally got into ONE MATCH IN 40 MINUTES OF QUEUE TIME!
I've seen the "we couldn't find a match" message more times than I've seen opponents today! I cannot, for the life in me, understand how you deem this to be acceptable.
There are so many more people queuing as Hunters than there are the other classes, which means that they (we) have a much longer queue time on average.
And no, switching to a Warlock or a Titan isn't an acceptable workaround either. People shouldn't have to switch to a different class just to be able to play a particular mode.
As requested in the title, PLEASE remove the one Guardian per class stipulation 🙏🏾
There are so many more people queuing as Hunters than there are the other classes, which means that they (we) have a much longer queue time on average.
This is because Hunters are easily the top class in PvP right now (and generally have been so over the game's lifespan). Titans are perfectly serviceable, Warlocks are very much in the doldrums. Particularly against better players, any match as a Titan or Warlock where youdon't come up against 3 Hunters is a massive blessing. People may say "just swap to Hunter then" but it's exactly as you put it, no one should have to change classes just to get a half-decent experience. At one point last week, there had been more Void Hunters in Trials than Titans or Warlocks of any subclass. I should think that having a more level playing field for one weekend can be given a pass.
