Good evening everybody! This is Aifos coming to you alive from the Twilight City! Do you remember the good old days, when RP graced these forums? So many fun stories to tell, and neato adventures to have? You probably don't. Most of the RP players are gone. [i]BUT[/i] I recently started a new RP over on Discord, and now that I've kept it up for a little while, I think I'm confident in saying I should be able to keep it up without too much issue! So, it's time to recruit some more players! If you're unfamiliar with the way an RP works, it's similar to DnD, but totally text based, and without all those stats and dice. I would be the DM, of course, and you would create a character and go on an adventure of my making! This is a solo-RP, which means you're playing through the adventure by yourself. However, do note this is also a long-form RP, meaning you're expected to be playing for quite a while. How long, who knows, but to really get anything out of it, it's something you've got to be willing to stick around for, not something you just play over a weekend. There's no urgency to be playing constantly--you can pop in several times a day, or once a week, and either way works--but however you decide to go about it, it will last a long time. Here is a short premise of the story: [spoiler]People known as Star Children are mysteriously going missing all across the Twilight City. A tech company known as StarLight has been looking into this, and they think they've discovered the next victim; a girl named Mayday. They send the player out to investigate, and rescue Mayday if they can. The intel turns out to be correct, and Mayday is attacked by a [i]mysterious individual[/i]. The player manages to rescue her, and take her back to StarLight. From that point on, the player, StarLight, and Mayday will be working together to investigate the disappearances of the Star Children. They'll soon discover a prophecy saying that the Eye opens every 1,000 years, letting the Sealed Stars shine down on the world for one day, and that the villains they're fighting are obviously trying to use this Day of the Night to do something, though the player doesn't yet know what...[/spoiler] If you're interested, let me know, and I will send you an invite to the Discord!
