For now.
I only played Destiny 2 in the last years for PVP. Bungie has put PVP on the back burner. In the most recent trials, they are literally trolling the PVP community with the choice of map, and combining it with class based matchmaking. How are they trolling you might ask? They know from statistics, that disjunction is highly dis-liked by the number of people that leave immediately upon the start of any match type on disjunction in regular Crucible. There is no other explanation they would intentionally pick this map for trials, because they knew people would not like it. It is as if they want you to quit the game. I think they do. Fine.
I’ve gotten every reward I can get from Trials. I used to play for fun, then I grinded for gear, then cosmetics. I got the gear and cosmetics, Bungie has removed the fun, so nothing left.
I’ve uninstalled the game, I’ll come back later most likely after a good amount of time off, IF the game isn’t completely dead that is.. I might come back sooner if there are some improvements made. I doubt it. I hope I’m wrong.
I’ve had fond memories of this game going back to the beta of D1. D2 has had its ups and downs, and yeah this is just a bad weekend, but let’s face it…. For PVP players, the game has been on life-support, and when the developers are actively trying to kill it, while trolling the few people left playing, they can go eat a bag of D**s.
The closest and most fun trials weekends are on PVP maps, like Javelin, Dead Cliffs, Endless, or even Burnout…Disjunction is a novelty map, more suited to PVE, it has to be the most dropped game pvp map in Destiny…
Couple that with long wait times and redrix still meta, its definitely a FU statement weekend to pvp players…
