For now.
I only played Destiny 2 in the last years for PVP. Bungie has put PVP on the back burner. In the most recent trials, they are literally trolling the PVP community with the choice of map, and combining it with class based matchmaking. How are they trolling you might ask? They know from statistics, that disjunction is highly dis-liked by the number of people that leave immediately upon the start of any match type on disjunction in regular Crucible. There is no other explanation they would intentionally pick this map for trials, because they knew people would not like it. It is as if they want you to quit the game. I think they do. Fine.
I’ve gotten every reward I can get from Trials. I used to play for fun, then I grinded for gear, then cosmetics. I got the gear and cosmetics, Bungie has removed the fun, so nothing left.
I’ve uninstalled the game, I’ll come back later most likely after a good amount of time off, IF the game isn’t completely dead that is.. I might come back sooner if there are some improvements made. I doubt it. I hope I’m wrong.
I’ve had fond memories of this game going back to the beta of D1. D2 has had its ups and downs, and yeah this is just a bad weekend, but let’s face it…. For PVP players, the game has been on life-support, and when the developers are actively trying to kill it, while trolling the few people left playing, they can go eat a bag of D**s.
For now. I only played Destiny 2 in the last years for PVP. Bungie has put PVP on the back burner.
It never left the back burner. Pvp has never been their main focus with destiny and it never will be.
If you don't like the map, then don't play. The class based matchmaking is only an issue for hunters. If a majority of pvp players knew how to play something other than hunter, then there wouldn't be an issue.
How are they trolling you might ask? Fine.
They clearly don't want people to quit seeing as how dlc is still planned for the game. Also, just because you or anyone else don't like a map doesn't mean bungie needs to never use the map.
I’ve gotten every reward I can get from Trials. I used to play for fun, then I grinded for gear, then cosmetics. I got the gear and cosmetics, Bungie has removed the fun, so nothing left.
That's called a you problem. No one cares if you don't like a mode or don't have fun in it but still play it constantly.
I’ve uninstalled the game, I’ll come back later most likely after a good amount of time off, IF the game isn’t completely dead that is.. I might come back sooner if there are some improvements made. I doubt it. I hope I’m wrong.
Just keep it uninstalled, and there was no reason to announce that you did it. They game most likely won't be dead seeing as how hundreds of thousands of people are still actively playing. And again, pvp has never been their main focus and never will be in destiny, so feel free to keep the game uninstalled instead of whining about it.
I’ve had fond memories of this game going back to the beta of D1. D2 has had its ups and downs, and yeah this is just a bad weekend, but let’s face it…. Pvp also isn't helped by the constant whining about how someone doesn't like certain weapons, maps, or modes. The pvp no life players should learn to either quit crying about everything or go do it in the corner.
