Was anyone else surprised after reset?
I was. I thought there was no way bungie would continue with this class based matchmaking in trials for another day after the complete disaster it’s been.
I’m an awful pvp player. But I have enjoyed trials so far this season. There’s a lot of gamers like me. Players who don’t usually touch trials have been jumping in and having a decent experience. This weekend just killed all that momentum.
I can switch to a warlock which isn’t ideal as I’m already below average trials player and worse on an alt, and it’s not very fair to my teammates. Or sit in queue for an eternity.
To bad. Under normal conditions I would grind out to flawless for shyuras. I hope a lot of the casuals like me havnt completely given up again after this weekend. Bungie may have killed the momentum they built.

I like playing in the actual match as class limited; however - I hate the que times. Not enough player population to support this game lab.

Literally every - EVERY - thread on the first two pages was on the same topic. I've never played Trials so I thought it was kind of funny.

Momentum died week 2 when IB was shoved in there. Might have the opposite effect this time. Give people the extra weekend to cool off from Disjunction.

2 RepliesAnnoyed ....yes. Surprised....no. Like yourself, I'm not a PvP slayer, but I've been enjoying trials again. I give Bungie credit for trying new things out, but why not make it an option so we can try it or revert back to the game mode we enjoy instead of just not playing for a week? I've said this many times on here about many aspects of the game. There would be a lot more contented players if we were given a CHOICE.

yeah I too was looking forward to another nice weekend in trials. But never made into a match, just took too long to load in, sorry I want to play not sit in orbit. Heck I loaded into a VoG final boss checkpoint with LFG's faster and then I did that again : ) no worries, I finished act 2 and the Willbreaker quest line. This week is Banner so no trials for two weeks I guess. they should have made it a choice, reg style or Guardian Games style. I even switched to my Titan and Warlock to see if I could load in faster, nope, still way to longa wait. I wasn't crazy about the map selection this week anywho.

Nope. Bungie never takes responsibility or acknowledges that they are the ones at fault whenever anything goes wrong in this game. Case in point, getting DCed. It's not Bungie's fault, you need to make sure your Internet connection is better.
