I think she just has a nasty streak for anything concerning the hive gods. Particularly crota and oryx. Which is understandable considering what you read in the lore. Basically she had to watch or hear every one of her teammates get tortured to death. So she really enjoys being the hive’s boogeyman. Hence her hive god of vengeance status for a little while.
