Destiny should allow us to put any weapon in any slot
It shouldnt matter what kind of weapon you use,energy weapon or normal, example Im using my redrix but I cant use my fav smg or my fav ar bc isnt energy weapon, and we are forced to find a good weapon that fits our gameplay again just bc of that barrier or -blam!- option

Heavy slot should stay separate.

I would like that.... cloudstrike as primary with Shayura's wrath Or Chaperone with Redrix or Rose But I doubt that Bungie got the brain to do it.

If they did a good way of doing it would be to make whatever weapon you choose for a second slot should auto change affinity to match subclass ,so for example if it's a kinetic weapon in the second slot but your using a ark super the kinetic weapon in second slot should change to ark

No I don’t think so. There is more of a loot grind if weapons are tied to specific slots. You might want a non-subclass style of handcannon for the top slot as well as one for the second slot. If you could swap between them that’s just one handcannon to chance.

Ok, ive heard this complaint so many times, between ppl wanting to run all heavies to ppl complaining about "champions". Theres a reason its situated the way it is. Just like champions, you need to adapt and over come your objective within the constraints of the mission. Do you think our gunner carried a m16a2 and a m249g? No. why? Bc its a loadout that wouldve weighed him down and otherwise been a hindrance. So he would carry something smaller and a sidearm. I get it, "space magic" and all that jazz, but a line has to drawn somewhere at thats where its at, and many many ppl have no issues.
