Do people even read anymore?

Watching politicians and social media influencers constantly misspell words is definitely cringe worthy. What happened to education in our country? Well not too focus on the negative, what's the last book you read or a book that simply left a good impression on you? My last book was a fascinating book, one of the best I've read in years. It's called " dialogues with the devil" by Taylor Caldwell.

  • Last book I read was Kafka on the shore by Haruki Murakami. It was a bit strange but overall a great read worthy of the international praise it has received

The last book I read was A Journey to the Center of the Earth, and I was very disappointed. It doesn’t hold up well in multiple areas and a wrote a pretty critical review of it for school. The last good book I read was Mistborn: The Final Empire. It’s not a perfect book, but it is very very good. I’ll definitely be finishing the trilogy!

    • The last book I read what In His Steps by Charles Sheldon, I really liked it. I don’t read much otherwise. I listened to some of the Fazbear Frights books, they were good. My favorite book is A Tale Dark and Grimm by Adam Gidwitz. The whole trilogy is fantastic, but the first is my favorite. I think it’s what got me into all the weird unsettling stuff I love now

    • (casually slips in a mention of how I'm a published author. Twice published, even!) I think the last book I read was Hypnagogia by Michael F. Simpson. Fun little horror thing. I didn't like the beginning much, but it picked up after a few chapters, and was pretty fun from there. The author was able to just write page after page within the protag's head, and it was very impressive.

    • I just finished re-reading 'Salem's Lot' and now I'm reading 'The Bazaar of Bad Dreams.' Afterward, I'm going to read 'Command and Control' by Tom Clancy.

    • I am currently reading "All The Gallant Men" by and about a USS Arizona survivor from Pearl Harbor. I rarely read anything, book wise, but this one got my attention and picked it up.
