So, like a lot of players, I'm doing a lot of content I haven't done for awhile to kill some time before the next act. Like Crucible. Like Dares. Like Onslaught... I thought I'd chase that elusive repulser brace/destablizing rounds Recluse role I've never managed to get. I dunno how many Onslaughts I've run since day one of this activity looking for this combo and have never gotten it. I realize the odds of a god roll combo for this are pretty small, but what else do I have to do at the moment? So, I donno, maybe 10 to 15 runs of Onslaught yesterday, I get a bunch of Recluses dropped and maybe two thirds of them have frenzy as a main perk. Several more have desperate measures. Maybe one or two with master of arms. That's it. That seems like something is still broken with the RNG for weapons drops. I'm not suggesting this is intentional. I take Bungie's word it's not possible to skew drops. But two thirds of the Recluse drops I've gotten have the same perk? Out of all the perks available in the right column? Something is still broken. And, yeah, some people like frenzy. I don't but some do. Bungie gives us tools and some us like some of those tools while others don't. But I can definitely say that I don't need seven to ten Recluses with frenzy. I don't even need one with frenzy. Something about RNG for Onslaught at least still seems to be broken.
