For this 0.3% old tortoise*, Trust was my ‘go to’ HC…and with it, I grinded to get my old Thornio / Luna / Not F / etc. - with a helping hand from my warrior son, to finish things off. By the time I actually got them, they were either already nerfed or about to be nerfed. I never understood why top tier and mid-to-upper tier PvP players, who all had no problem in getting these toys, were flexing nonstop, whilst 0.3% old duffers like me were chasing these toys? If anyone could have benefited from the better weapons, it was the canon fodder! And yet, there was no separation between the PvP pools, eg, those that already have them vs. the canon fodder that are chasing them. It was such BS! 🧐 Back then, just the sound of Vex M / Suros meant it was game over, for the majority that never had them. And that Thorn quest was a horrible one…and again, you were dead in seconds as the tics did you in, if you didn’t have this toy! There’s always been ‘must have’ toys, that blatted like crazy, and which the ‘favoured few’ all seemed to get ahead of time…then flexed to the max., in their vids / streams…where their adoring fans lined-up for a raffle / ‘auction’ chance of a Lighthouse carry! Go figure?! 🙄 ‘Must Have’ weapons notwithstanding, the biggest issue that needs fixing in Destiny PvE / PvP is the crumbling infrastructure, antiquated ‘steam’ (game) engine, and P2P Lag / Latency drivers. 👈 Until those are sorted, nothing will ever change to make the game better.👈👈👈 D3 needs to happen. 👈 Silent Sony and Bungle HQ need to wake up! 🧐 The long-suffering loyal customers’ ‘good will’ is evaporating by the day.
