There is no worst feeling when you win a game from 24-29 to 33-31 and then the next game you lose 33-34 because one of your teammates leaves and you lose points. Both games were good and competitive but when you lose points because another guy left it is really irritating. Please make it so if you re a solo and a teammate leaves you get loss forgiveness or at least you lose half points.

the nerfs did nothing
-
What they can do is remove comp from the game
-
Just had a teammate who kept sabotaging a cap zone comp match by jumping off the map.

Had a guy leave yesterday when the other team started to get close to winning. But you know what we just stepped up our game and won it! The guy left too soon!

do you understand how easily this can be abused to boost people to ascendant? do you understand that there are already ways people can manipulate leaving mechanics to never lose points in ranked which people are abusing in comp now as we speak? do you understand that there are more people in ascendant right now than this entire expansion because people are cheating/boosting their way in? no dude if someone leaves then deal with it. if you are good enough at the game that should not matter in the long run. leavers incur a 30 minute lockout if they leave multiple times in like an hour. people leaving like this is a part of any ranked videogame. ranked exploiters shouldn't be given another way to boost because you cannot gain ranked points despite people leaving occasionally.

This will be abused within the first 5 games ppl play

No. The worst feeling in comp is losing 100-14. Like, WTF kind of matching is that?

Loss forgiveness/ half points on leave of a team mate would only achieve an increase of abuse of the system and also an increase in harassment towards players to quit a lost game to mitigate the point loss for others, that is not healthy to the ladder system nor the player base. I don't recall a competitive FPS online that has such system in place in their ladder. Exception happens if the system detects a cheater and removes points loss and gains likewise. What is needed to mitigate such behaviour could be: - Harsh penalties for quitters, scaling more rapidly towards sesonal bans from the ladder. - Harsh point loss for the quitting player alongside the penalty above. - Harsh penalties/point loss for reporting toxic players in chat. - Add a timer after a player leaves, which when elapsed allows the remaining player to safely quit the match without penalties but only point loss so they don't get farmed / stomped by the the other team ( This is actually used on overwatch 2 ) a quitting player can reconnect during this timer to stop it and resume the normal flow of the game.

I had two clanmates leave at the start of the match and so I just tried to win a 1v3 with no luck, then they joined back in the game with about 2 minutes left in the game. Not sure if it loaded them back into our game or what but I was done.
