I don’t know if y’all saw ZK’s video about trials but his comments about matchmaking are spot on. If you were to rank six players 1-6, 1 being the best and 6 the worst it feels like it’s 1, 5, and 6 vs 2, 3, and 4. I’m always amazed how my teams don’t seem to know how to or desire to play as a team but the other team although completely solo seem to coordinate perfectly… it feels like a decent amount of games are rigged to lose so why should I or anyone bother wasting our time if the outcome is decided before we land?! I admit I have no clue how complex game making is but maybe it’s time to trying getting out of matchmaking entirely, make it completely random, pick six players that allow for the best connections and let the chips fall where they may at least that way when I see I don’t stand a snowballs chance in hell at winning it’ll be the “luck of the draw” and not a manufactured loss.

This is exactly why I stopped playing D2. I used to play a lot of PvP, but this right here is the worst thing I’ve ever seen in gaming. Solo experience is very bad. You can’t play with friend either due to FBMM. You’ll get matched with stacked teams who never miss a crit and move around faster than my character can. Enough is enough. After act 2 dropped and saw there nothing new apart from a dull boss fight activity, I just stopped playing. It’s a shame because the gunfight and PvP are unique, but the game is very badly maintained. Bungie whole focus is at Marathon, which in my opinion they aim to create a game to compete with others like Helldivers, Warframe etc. Btw Warframe is awesome! I’m having a great time and won’t be playing D2 soon. Nothing interesting there.
